If my kids have had a really bad day, I find that it opens the door for more communication about issues that my kids might be having, and I get the information on what is going on in my kids’ lives that I might not have gotten but just asking how was your day and going back to not listening.

We celebrate failure in our house. Maybe you should too.

The topic of failure I find scares people and it is like a taboo topic. I find it is more taboo than talking about anal sex!

I want you to try something for me.

Say the word FAILURE! Now say it louder, FAILURE! Say it again, even louder, FAILURE!

Now feel that new feeling you feel in your body and let it sink in. That is called release. Feel that it is ok to fail.
